Take in the sweeping panorama of Iguazu Falls from Brazil. Picture waterfalls stretching roughly the full length of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge: with 80% of the falls on the Argentine side, Brazil offers an extraordinary view of their sweeping scale.

Walking Among Exotic Birds in the Iguazu Rainforest (private tour)
You’re about to enter a one-of-a-kind bird sanctuary! Here you’ll find the largest colony of toucans on display in the world, as well as the largest colony of parrots on display in South America, along with 150 different bird species from Brazil and all over the world, many of them endangered.
Walk into rainforest aviaries where colorful parrots and Toco Toucans perch beside you or fly overhead. This internationally recognized rescue and preservation center brings us face to face with the extraordinary birds it protects.

Option 2: Pure Adrenaline: River-rafting on the Mendoza River
Take on the Mendoza River’s Class III and IV rapids, powered by Andean meltwater. Paddle into a rush of whitewater and mountain scenery on this exhilarating rafting adventure.

Option 3: A Trekking Adventure at Cerro Cabras
Hike to the summit of Cerro Cabras, where Mendoza’s rugged foothills open onto sweeping views of the snow-capped Andes.

Option 4: Biking & Wine Tasting at Mendoza’s Zuccardi Winery (private tour)
Pedal through Familia Zuccardi’s vineyards with the snow-capped Andes behind you, then taste the wines of this celebrated Mendoza estate. This gentle ride brings us close to the landscape that gives the wines their character.
We’ll try Chardonnay, Syrah, and the most famous variety of wine of the Mendoza region: Malbec. You’ll also enjoy a selection of assorted cheeses and cold cuts with wine.

Option 5: A Day of Biking & Wine Tasting in Mendoza’s Wineries
It’s time to hop on our bikes and follow Mendoza’s roads between three wineries, stopping to explore and sample their ruby-colored wines. With vineyards and snow-capped mountains in view, we’ll discover why this region is at the heart of Argentine winemaking.
This is a full-day group tour and includes lunch with 1 non-alcoholic beverage & wine in a winery or local restaurant.
The five-mile ride follows roads between wineries, rather than paths inside the vineyards.
Option 6: Sunset Horseback Riding with Asado (Meat barbecue) & Wine
Ride into an Andean sunset, following Mendoza’s countryside as warm evening light falls across the mountains.
We’ll meet our horses and ride out to views of Mendoza Valley, the city and the mountains. The well-trained horses make the experience suitable even for first-time riders.
Return to the lodge for a traditional asado barbecue after watching the sunset paint the Andes.

Option 7: Soar Across the Mendoza River: Adrenaline-Packed Canopy Experience
Soar above the Potrerillos Valley with the El Plata Mountains in view. At an average height of nearly 195 feet (60 meters), this zip-line circuit takes the mountain adventure higher.
We’ll enjoy the thrill of zip lining along 6 different cables, for almost 1 mile (1400 meters); taking us through breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. We’ll also experience the adrenaline rush of crossing above the mighty Mendoza River.

Hike through the forests of Mount Llao Llao, where southern beech and native bamboo open onto sweeping views of Patagonia’s lakes and mountains.
Then ride the chairlift up Campanario Hill for a panorama National Geographic rated among the ten best in the world: deep-blue lakes, forested hills and snow-capped Andean peaks stretching across a 360-degree view.

Day 10: November 12th (Tuesday) - Bariloche

Option 1: Navigating the Nahuel Huapi Lake & Exploring and Hiking at Victoria Island and the Myrtle Forest (with private guide and port transfers)
Sail across the blue waters of Nahuel Huapi Lake, framed by the snow-capped Andes. From the boat’s upper-deck VIP cabin, take in sweeping views in a more exclusive setting.
On Victoria Island, explore forests steeped in history and watch for wildlife. Then enter the enchanting Myrtle Forest, where smooth, cinnamon-colored trees create a landscape straight out of a storybook.

Option 2: A Horseback Adventure in the Patagonian Steppe
It’s time to swing into the saddle and explore the vast Patagonian steppe on horseback.

Discover your inner adventurer as you explore and conquer one of the world’s most awe-inspiring and unique glaciers: The Perito Moreno. This splendid ice giant showcases its mighty glory in the Patagonian Glaciers National Park, which has been declared Mankind’s Natural Heritage site by UNESCO. The park’s vast size not only gives it the distinction of being the largest ice mantle in the world after Antarctica and Greenland, but also that of being the third largest fresh water reserve on the planet.
Strap on your crampons and step onto the glacier, exploring a world of sculpted ice beneath your feet.
A boat ride and the panoramic boardwalks reveal the glacier from the water and from shore, completing an extraordinary day on and around the ice.

Day 13: November 15th (Friday) - El Calafate
Choose 1 among the following 3 tour options:
Option 1: Icy Blue Giants: Navigate the Largest Patagonian Glaciers and take the most Awe-inspiring Glacier Photos (in boat’s VIP section)
Sail among sculpted blue icebergs toward the colossal Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers, the latter the tallest in Los Glaciares National Park. These ice giants, accessible only by boat, reveal an extraordinary range of shapes and colors, from pure white to deep blue.
Our upper-deck VIP cabin offers panoramic views, added comfort and dedicated assistance. Ashore at Glaciers Bay, walk to glacier viewpoints and enjoy traditional local cuisine in the restaurant’s VIP section.

Option 2: Discovery of Colossal Upsala Glacier and Experiencing a Patagonian Estancia
Cruise Lake Argentino to remote Estancia Cristina, founded by an English couple in 1914. From this outpost of Patagonian pioneer history, an all-terrain adventure takes us to a panoramic viewpoint of colossal Upsala, one of the largest glaciers of the Southern Patagonian Icefield.

Option 3: Discovery of the Colossal Upsala Glacier & Adventure Trek by the Valley of the Sea Fossils in Patagonian Estancia
Cruise to remote Estancia Cristina, founded by an English couple in 1914, then ride an all-terrain vehicle about 6 miles (9.5 kilometers) uphill to a majestic viewpoint of Upsala Glacier, one of the largest in the Southern Patagonian Icefield. From here, trek down a valley filled with ancient marine fossils: an extraordinary meeting of ice, mountains and Patagonia’s prehistoric past. The roughly 9-mile (14-kilometer) trek is mostly a gradual descent and lasts about 4½ hours.

An Up-Close & Personal Experience Walking among the Cute Magellanic Penguins
Walk among the charismatic Magellanic penguins at Punta Tombo, home to the world’s largest colony. With more than a hundred thousand of these adorable creatures, this is an extraordinary chance to see their world up close.
This is a long half-day group tour (the visit to the Punta Tombo Magellanic Penguins reserve lasts 2 hours), but it’s usually combined with at least 1 other tour option in the area making it a full-day tour.
Navigating to Discover the Dazzling Acrobatics of the Panda Dolphin
