The Cerro Pelado is a more "off-the-beaten-path" trail than other hiking options in the area. It’s a bit more rugged and difficult, but also less frequented, which allows for a more exclusive hiking experience. And because it’s quite separate from the mountain range, Cerro Pelado offers unbeatable panoramic views of the city of Ushuaia, the Beagle Channel and the surrounding landscapes.

This trekking adventure will take you 2,624 feet (800 meters) above Ushuaia

Our trek begins with a hike through a native forest, as we take in the fresh mountain air and the beauty that will surround us. As we ascend past the tree lines, we’ll hike along rocky terrain until we reach the summit of Cerro Pelado, where we’ll experience breathtaking, 360-degree panoramic views of Ushuaia; its mountains, valleys, and even the Beagle Channel. It’s here that we’ll sit and relax for a little while, and enjoy our lunch box. After taking in and contemplating the beautiful sights of Ushuaia from over 800 meters above sea level, we’ll begin our descent, taking with us the awesome experience of having conquered the imposing Cerro Pelado!
