Experience the heart of Patagonia’s ranching heritage with a visit to Nibepo Aike, nestled within the stunning landscapes of Los Glaciares National Park. As the sole working ranch in the park with livestock production, Nibepo Aike offers a glimpse into traditional gaucho life, where skilled horsemen still roam the vast expanses, tending to herds of cattle and sheep against the backdrop of the Andean peaks.
You’ll learn about the history of the ranch and the pioneer family that still manages it today, admire the gaucho skills, and walk around the old historic farmstead. See sheep milking, herding, and a shearing demonstration.
You’ll finally enjoy a lunch with a traditional Patagonian lamb barbecue.
