Trekking to the Quebrada del Salto Waterfall
with Optional Rappelling Immerse yourself in the wilderness
of the province of Mendoza in this exciting trekking and rappel adventure to the
Quebrada del Salto Waterfall. This trekking gives
travelers an up-close view of the incredible scenery of Mendoza allowing them
to interact with nature and to explore fascinating places, many of which cannot
be accessed in any other way. You will start out by
trekking along the Virgin Trail for about one hour and a half. This trail will
take you to a panoramic view of the mountains and Potrerillos dam. Here you will
get set and ready for the exciting rappel challenge. If you prefer you can opt-out
of the rapelling and only do the trekking part of the tour.
Your English speaking guide will introduce you to the basic concepts of rappel
and safety, and will provide you with all the necessary equipment so you can get
ready ready to feel the adrenaline over the huge rocky walls!
You will rappel down the third wall of La Quebrada del Salto, which has a height
of 235 feet (18 meters). After this adventure you will
start your return through a different trekking trail. After
the tour you will enjoy lunch in a beautiful setting next to the Mendoza River.
