This was our family's first trip to Argentina; we have been to a number of other countries in South America. Buenos Aires is one of the prettiest and safest cities I have been to. Our trip also included a trip to Iguazu Falls and multiple day trips (Gaucho, Tigre River, City tour and Colonia de Sacramento, Uruguay).

Fred at Exploration Journey's was excellent at all steps during our vacation, but really exceeded our expectations on helping us reschedule our trip in a matter of hours due to airport shut downs.

David Jewell And Beth Brummer - Honeymoon Trip

What an incredible place to have a honeymoon - a real once in a lifetime (although hopefully we'll return one day!) trip. Exploration Journeys should be proud to have such a conscientious, organized and calm representative in Fred. Fred was exceptional from the minute we raised our interest in going to Argentina. The diverse range of activities was perfect for us, the timetable was perfect - the only criticism is that we should have gone for longer! Every one of our trip guides was super friendly, all the drivers turned up on time (even when one of our domestic flights was diverted to a different airport we had a driver waiting within 15 minutes of landing) and even when we encountered some minor hiccups, Fred was on the end of the phone ready to resolve (does this guy ever sleep?)

Exploration Journeys made our honeymoon so relaxed - their organization is superb and the travel booklet is extremely useful.

Argentina itself is a lovely place, so diverse, so friendly and welcoming. We went to Iguazu, Mendoza, El Calafate and Buenos Aires. Four very, very different experiences. The waterfalls in Iguazu are amazing, a real wonder of the world. The boat trip is a must! Horseback riding in the foothills of the Andes was simply breathtaking. Wine tasting in Mendoza is not to be missed either - the lunch at Ruca Malen winery was exquisite. Walking on the Perito Mereno glacier was inspiring as well as being fantastic fun! Buenos Aires is a real buzzing city with so much to see - Tango is a must and Palermo and la Boca give you a real sense of the diversity of the city.

We found Exploration Journeys on the Internet when we had decided on Argentina for our honeymoon. We are both delighted that we did find them because our honeymoon couldn't have worked out any better. We had a fantastic trip from start to finish and we can't thank Fred enough.

From our initial query and rough outline of what we wanted to do and where we wanted to visit, Fred couldn't have been more helpful in terms of advice, tips and general information. And he showed a lot of patience and dedication in coming up with multiple itineraries until we settled on the final one.

We received an online version of our travel booklet and then the real thing arrived in plenty of time ahead of our trip.

It was great not to have to worry about any of our trip details coming up to the wedding, knowing that everything had been planned in advance. Upon arrival in Argentina, everything ran perfectly, and even if it hadn't we knew we had access to Exploration Journeys 24/7 just a phone call away. We didn't need to use that service though, because everything ran perfectly, from our arrival in Buenos Aires to our departure a couple of weeks later.

Our drivers were always on time, our hotels were great, our tours were excellent, and even the weather was perfect (not sure how Fred pulled that one off!) even down in Patagonia.

The travel booklet was excellent, and we used it everywhere we visited in terms of its restaurant recommendations (all excellent) and places of interest to go and see.

Overall, we couldn't recommend Exploration Journeys enough. They gave us a fantastic trip of a lifetime for our honeymoon, a trip we will never forget. "

My wife and I have traveled much of the world and the trip to Argentina was our sixth trip to South America (we have also traveled to Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador and Chile). When we decided to go to Argentina, I began working with my local travel agent to plan a comprehensive trip. "This was our first trip to Argentina and Exploration Journeys put together an itinerary that packed our 10 days of travel. Everything was taken care of, rooms, stops, guides, and air travel. We started and ended in Buenos Aires, went to Patagonia (El Calafate), and enjoyed the Mendoza area. Our most memorable experiences included walking on a glacier in Patagonia, standing on the top of the Andes at 13,000 feet in front of the statue of Christ on the border of Argentina and Chile (a tour out of Mendoza),

and enjoying one of the most memorable wine tours in Mendoza finishing with a 5 star lunch and wine tasting at a winery in the middle of a vineyard.

Of course, there was the tour of Buenos Aires, Tango Dinner in Buenos Aires, the boat tour to three glaciers, and the visit to an estancia with a barbeque and gaucho entertainment.

Fred and Exploration Journeys seemed to anticipate all of our needs. We couldn't ask more to have a better trip.

The Travel Booklet for our Argentine adventure that was given to us before we left became our Bible for the trip. That book had more information than we would ever need to enjoy our trip.

We wish we had more time to enjoy other areas of Argentina, but that will have to wait for another trip to Argentina. "

"In January 2011 we began our Argentine adventure with superb planning assistance from Fred of Exploration Journeys. We selected the company because of their very professional and user friendly website through which they responded to us almost immediately regarding their services and recommendations. We had three weeks to explore and wanted to visit as many places as possible without feeling that we were always on the move.

"I traveled to Argentina and Brazil with my youngest daughter (age 15) in a trip organized by Exploration Journeys from 21-27 December 2009. Not only did they plan a very good vacation for us, but they demonstrated tremendous dexterity in rearranging our itinerary when our flight to Buenos Aires was delayed 17 hours because of a snowstorm. The local guides were not typical at all; with each one it was like spending a day with a local friend. They were eclectic and unusual which appealed to me a lot. "I had an extremely wonderful trip to Argentina. I found Exploration Journeys on the internet, and contacted Fred asking him to put together an itinerary for me.
